Lisa's story of hope
Photo: Lisa Narayansingh
I am pleased to announce that my Leukemia is currently in deep remission. My oncologist and I are very happy with my progress.
I am deeply grateful to all the doctors and medical staff at WHRN, Grand River Regional Cancer Center and Freeport Hospital, for their compassionate care and support. Over the next year, I will continue bone marrow testing and blood work for monitoring purposes.
The past 3 years, I have faced many challenges with the cancer diagnoses and ministrokes. There have been good and bad days with anger and frustrations, but on this journey, I have Learned that I have one power “Never Give UP”. A positive mindset with the support of family and friends continues to make this journey less painful and more optimistic.
My wish for this Golf Tournament is to raise much needed funds to help the WRHN Cancer Center to assist others who have been touched by cancer and battling every day.
Thank you for continued support.
— Lisa Narayansingh
