Rachel's 30th Birthday Fundraiser
In support of Cancer Care at Waterloo Regional Health Network (WRHN)
For my 30th birthday, I'd love if you could join me in raising funds for the Waterloo Regional Health Network Cancer Centre (formerly Grand River Cancer Centre) in lieu of gifts.
After spending time in the cancer centre last year as a caregiver, I learned a few things. Firstly, all of the staff and volunteers are amazing. From your first interaction to your last, you are treated with kindness and compassion.
Secondly, the medical care and expertise is some of the best. When you or someone you love is faced with a cancer diagnosis, having access to incredible medical care so close to home is so important.
Lastly, you would be shocked to see how many people are accessing cancer care at a given time, and from all walks of life. You never know if cancer will affect you or your family, but when it does, you want to access the best possible care, quickly!
So I'm raising funds to help strengthen our local cancer care.
