Scott's story

Ten years ago, Scott Tonelli carried his 14-year-old son into a waiting room at WRHN after a mental health-related episode. The family felt relief knowing their son was in the right place, but with the mental health wing at capacity, they had to wait for an open bed.
We know that potentially, we're going into another Christmas where we don't see our son. Hopefully the money we raise means someone else doesn't have to go through that.
Scott Tonelli, mental health advocate and fundraiser

That wait led Scott to a decision: he would do anything he could to make sure kids in his community had access to mental health support when they needed it. He started small, saving spare change, and has since grown his Change 4 Change fundraiser into a decade-long effort that's raised more than $40,000 for kids' mental health at WRHN.
